Early Alert Referral Service

If you know a WSU student who is struggling academically, refer him or her to the Student Success Center's Early Alert Referral Service (EARS). An early intervention initiative, EARS connects students facing academic difficulties with university resources that can positively impact their academic performance.

Referrals may be made in one of the following ways:

Email: ears@weber.edu
Phone: 801-626-6752

Please include or be prepared to provide the following information for your referral:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Student’s name, contact information, and W number (if available)
  • Reason for referral
  • Indication of whether you have attempted to contact the student you are referring

EARS was developed as an initiative of Weber State University's Retention and Persistence to Graduation Committee to provide support and interventions for students who have been identified as academically at-risk. See EARS Mission and Objectives and EARS FAQs for more information.
