"Hi, my name is Alexandra Jensen and I am your Social Work Club Secretary. I am a senior here at Weber State University and this is my 3rd semester in the BSW program. I became interested in Social Work because I have a passion for helping people and I believe we as Social Workers are effective in helping individuals and communities succeed in creating a better quality of life. I look forward to working with you this semester as a Social Work Club officer, please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you may have."
"I am a senior and will be graduating with my bachelors degree in Social Work in April of 2014. I plan on going to grad school next year to get my masters in Social Work, as to where I am going I am not sure. This year I will be interning at the organization called Volunteers of America where I will be working with the homeless youth outreach program. I am very excited to see how I learn and grow through this experience as well as be there for the youth. When I graduate I believe that I would like to continue working with the poor through an experience of working in the slum communities in Bangkok, Thailand over the summer."
"I am a single mom of two teenagers. This is my senior year. I am 42 years old and am Hispanic/Latina. I really enjoy working with all different types of people young and old. I look forward to working with you this year."
