Students are encouraged to utilize all forms of aid available to them. These include Work Study, Pell Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG), State Student Incentive Grants (SSIG), Perkins Loans, Stafford Loans, PLUS loans for parents, non-subsidized student loans, Vocational-Rehabilitation, JTPA, PIC, Employer Tuition Assistant Programs and Veterans’ Benefits.
Federal Financial Aid requirements change annually. It is recommended that students reapply every year, even if you did not qualify for aid in the past.
The priority filing deadline for Federal Financial Aid is March 1.
Students who are on other types of scholarships can combine them with need-based scholarships as well as Federal Financial Aid.
