Staff Advisory Committee (SAC)

What is SAC?

The Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) (a) supports the goals and objectives of the University and (b) represents exempt and non-exempt employees to the University administration, the Board of Trustees and the University community.

What does SAC do?

SAC seeks input from exempt and non-exempt employees on current WSU issues. They then provide input and exchange ideas with the Board of Trustees and Weber State administration.

SAC also participates in Utah Higher Education Staff Association (UHESA).

How can my voice be heard?

There are three ways you can provide SAC with your input.

  1. Contact a Committee Member.
  2. Attend a meeting. All exempt and non-exempt staff are invited to attend any or all meetings. Meetings are generally held the first Tuesday the month at 2:00 pm. If you have input you would like discussed, contact the SAC Chair one week prior to a scheduled meeting.
  3. Email
  4. Share your comments (new ideas, questions, or concerns)
