You are invited to nominate a professional staff member to the Professional Staff Advisory Committee (PSAC). Members of the committee serve as your representative and advocate the needs of professional and administrative staff to the university administration, board of trustees and university community.
A member is elected to represent one of three different area groupings. The different areas are grouped together based on the number of employees in each area. The nominees you submit need to work in one of the departments listed for Area One or Area Three. Please keep in mind that when voting, you vote for all three areas.
This year we are seeking nominations for:Area One: Administrative Services/University Advancement/President’s Office - One representative
Area Three: Academic Affairs - One representative
Nominations are due April 12, 2013.
New committee members will be replacing Kristin Radulovich (Academic Affairs) and Amber Robson (Administrative Services). Kristin has served as the chair this past year and has provided valuable insight and leadership in the organization. Amber has also been a valuable member of the committee, making sure Super Staff awards were organized and presented, developing new fliers and promotional materials, and being a liaison with the bookstore. Both of them will be greatly missed!
Committee members are elected for a three-year term and attend monthly meetings as well as perform additional assignments such as: greet new employees, provide administrative support, represent PSAC at university committees, regional associations, legislature, and assist with staff awards.
