It is important to understand that there is not a “pre-medical major” at Weber State University; rather, you select a major in any discipline (refer to drop down menu titled 'Popular Majors' above) and include the courses that medical schools require of undergraduates for your specific pre-medical professional program. Depending on the major program's requirements it may take longer than four years to complete both a Bachelor's degree and the premedical program's requirements. Please always consult with your advisors.
Pre-med students at WSU have had many successes: Over the past five years, WSU student acceptance into medical schools (M.D. & D.O programs) has averaged 62 percent, significantly above the national average.
