Expiration of Appointment

POLICY

Employees who are appointed for specific periods of time are automatically separated as of the last day of the appointment unless there is a change in status extending the appointment or reappointment without an absence from employment. The separation is effective on the ending day of the appointment even though a separation form is not processed.
