II. POLICY

The president of the University, appointed by the Utah State Board of Higher Education, is the chief executive officer. Supporting the president shall be an administrative staff of adequate size and efficiently organized to (l) advise the president in various specialized endeavors; (2) assure that both routine and development business are handled expeditiously; (3) see that the various functions such as instruction, research, business matters and student affairs are coordinated among the various colleges and other areas of responsibility; and (4) provide University-wide leadership in stimulating and developing the scope and excellence of these functions.
