Membership into The Honor Society of
Phi Kappa Phi is by invitation only. Since the Society is
interdisciplinary, it elects members from all recognized branches of
academic endeavor--liberal arts, engineering, business administration,
fine and performing arts, education, and health and human services--at the
undergraduate and graduate level.
Undergraduates
Juniors must have completed one term and rank
scholastically in the top 7.5 percent of their class in a given college. Seniors must rank in
the top 10 percent of their class in a given college. The total number of undergraduate
initiates may not exceed 10 percent of the total of the graduating class.
Graduates
Graduate students, as well, must rank in
the upper 10 percent of their class. The total number of graduate
initiates may not exceed 10 percent of the total of the graduating class.
Faculty and
Administrators
Faculty and administrators who have
achieved noteworthy distinctions in their field may be invited to join the
Society. No more than four per year are inducted.

Apply for Phi Kappa Phi Graduate
Fellowships and Awards of Excellence for students pursuing first-year
graduate study.

There are opportunities to meet
colleagues at local and regional
conferences and at national triennial conventions.
Publications
The society publishes a scholarly journal The
Phi Kappa Phi Journal, which offers insights into cultural, social and
scientific issues, and The Insider, which provides information on
local chapter issues.
Students must pay with a check or money order. We cannot take cash or credit cards.
For those students who choose not to attend the PKP Initiation Banquet -- We will hold certificates and academic regalia until May 15th, 2010. After that time, they will no longer be available.
If PKP initiates wish to purchase additional academic regalia, they must do so through the National PKP website www.phikappaphi.org
By joining, initiate agrees and consents to Phi Kappa Phi and Weber State University use of initiate’s name and/or likeness for use in promotional and advertising materials.
