The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
Phi Kappa Phi (PKP)  is recognized as one of the oldest and  most respected national academic honor societies. The mission of Phi Kappa Phi is the recognition and encouragement of superior scholarship in all academic disciplines.

The Society is convinced that acknowledging and honoring those persons of good character who have excelled in scholarship, in whatever field, will stimulate others to strive for excellence.

Phi Kappa Phi has more than 1,000,000 members worldwide and 285chapters throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and the Philippines.

Weber State University became affiliated with the Society in 1968 as the 119th chapter. WSU's chapter has been going strong for over thirty-five years!

Since its inception, WSU Phi Kappa Phi Chapter 119 has had four national scholarships award winners.  In addition to the national awards, WSU’s Phi Kappa Phi and Alumni Association offer several chapter scholarships for juniors, seniors, and graduate students.  By becoming a Phi Kappa member, you are among WSU’s finest and most distinguished scholars.

Application for a scholarship consideration may be brought to the WSU Honors Center LIB225 (2nd floor of the Stewart Library) by noon February 1, 2010 or may be mailed to Phi Kappa Phi WSU chapter 119, postmarked no later than February 1, 2010.

The Phi Kappa Phi Initiation Banquet will be held on April 06, 2010 at 6 pm in the Shepherd Union Building, Ballroom B. Initiates please arrive by 6:15 pm.  The attire for the evening is best dress.  All payments are done on-line.  Honors will not accept payments.  You may purchase quest tickets for $17 a piece.   If you are already a member of Phi Kappa Phi and have received another invitation you do not need to rejoin.  If you do not attend the banquet the cost is still the same.  There are no refunds.  If you are unable to attend the banquet you can pick up your certificate and academic regalia until May 1, 2010.  After this time they will not be available.  If you are out of state and wish your regalia mailed to you, please contact lriddle@weber.edu with your full name and complete address.  This is for out-of-state students only.
