 Prerequisites for this Course: Physics 2220, Math 2210, 2280.

 This course is a prerequisite for: Physics 3540.

 Credit Hours: Three.  Three hours of lecture per week.

 Topics Covered: Vector analysis.  Electrostatics.  Gauss's law.  Calculating electric potentials.  Solving Laplace's equation.  Multipole expansions.  Electrostatic fields in matter.  Magnetostatics.  Charges in motion. Faraday's law.  Maxwell's equations.

 Skills Emphasized: Vector operations.  Vector calculus.  Working with delta functions.
