 This course is a prerequisite for: None.

 Credit Hours: Three.  Three hours of lecture per week.

 Topics Covered: Selected from the Following: Root finding, curve fitting and interpolation methods.  Linear systems.  Numerical integration.  Numerical solutions to differential equations.  Fourier analysis.  Monte Carlo methods.  Computer simulation of the physical world.

 Skills Emphasized: Solving physics problems with a computer.
