Teaching Philosophy
I am passionate about encouraging others to teach skills in a physical education setting thereby influencing students toward a healthy, physically active lifestyle. I recognize there are as many ways to motivate students toward an active lifestyle as there are students I teach. I hope to teach students how to think and not what to think so they will be prepared to make decisions based on tried and tested principles.
Personal
I was a Weber State University team athlete who turned outdoor activity enthusiast and solar powered snow worshipper. I am very happily married to a sensitive and handsome man. We have five physically active married children and one single son who all enjoy the great outdoors with us and our ten grandchildren. When not at Weber State University, I am with my family in the water, on the snow, in the mountains, on the rocks, in the canyons, on the tennis court, running trails or in the Temple.
