Dance

A dance degree opens doorways to careers in performance, choreography, dance education, administration and emerging technologies.

When you major in dance, you can

  • Perform
  • Choreograph
  • Explore the history, theory and science of dance
  • Enhance your physical skills
  • Develop community connections

You'll receive individualized attention and the chance to travel to dance conferences, festivals and workshops.  As a senior student, you'll have an opportunity to co-produce your own concert.

Our faculty have professional backgrounds and teach many different styles of dance.  Visiting artists come from around the country to enhance our program through instruction, choreography and performance.
