Northern Utah Area Health Education Center

Improving Health Care through education in Northern Utah

The Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions at Weber State University is home to the office of the Northern Utah Area Health Education Center (NUAHEC) or (AHEC). The AHEC department aims to improve access to health care through education. Our ultimate goal is to help eliminate the shortages of health care professionals in rural and other medically underserved communities. We are committed to assist and support students who are interested in achieving a career in health care. This is accomplished through educating youth, community outreach, student support initiatives and continuing education
