Epiphany Submission Guidelines

Student authors must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED at WSU and must be NONTRADITIONAL STUDENTS (Either married, over 25, disabled, a veteran or a parent.)

We accept entries in the following categories:

  • Short Fiction
    • 6000 words max, double spaced
    • 12 pt font, Times New Roman

  • Flash Fiction
    • 600 words max, double spaced
    • 12 pt font, Times New Roman

  • Non-Fiction (Creative and Scholarly)
    • 6000 words max, double spaced
    • 12 pt font, Times New Roman

  • Poetry (up to 3 entries)
    • double spaced, 12 pt font, Times New Roman
  • All entries must be submitted online at http://www.weber.edu/nontrad/nt/Submission-Form.html.
    • The name(s) of the author(s) must NOT be on manuscripts.
    • Please do NOT send us your only copy of your work.

  • We do not want to limit creativity, but any vulgarity/profanity must be justified by the piece.
  • As long as the piece adheres to the submission guidelines, we guarantee fair consideration for publication. 
  • Each piece will be judged according to a fixed rubric and rating system.

*Multicultural/Diversity Section is open to all students as long as the piece relates to a subject of this nature.
