Scholarships

The Nontraditional Student Center understands the challenges students face in trying to attend school, provide for a family, pay rent, pay for books, or any other situation that requires financial stability attend college. The Nontrad Center has below a few options for financial support. Each of these have very specific requirements, so please read through carefully.

• Walter C. Swanson Scholarship
  (Available through the Nontraditional Student Center)


• Rising Star Scholarship
  (Available through the Nontraditional Student Center)


• Additional Scholarships
  (Not offered directly through the Nontraditional Student Center)

NOTE: The Walter C. Swanson Scholarship and the Rising Star Scholarship both require that students apply and be awarded or turned down for Financial Aid before they are eligible for these scholarships. To begin the financial aid process, please click here. If you need assistance with financial aid, applying for scholarships, please contact the Nontraditional Student Center and ask to meet with a Peer Advisor. Understand, the Peer Advisor is only there to assist with understanding the information or the explaining the process. The Nontraditional Student Center in no way guarantees students will receive funding. The process of completing all forms accurately and turning in materials on time is the responsibility of the student
