The Lessons in Leadership & Civic Responsibility Seminar began at Weber State in Spring 2007. The program is a voluntary program and has limited space. The students who join this nine-week program will receive a leadership book and course material free of charge. Students who complete the seminar will attend a celebration lunch and receive a certificate.

The Lessons in Leadership & Civic Responsibility Seminar was designed to address core competencies in leadership and the need for more students from WSU's underrepresented poplulations to be involved in leadership. If you represent any one of these populations: - Nontraditional (over 25, married, divorced, parent) - Women - International - Multicultural - Disability - Veteran Students then this seminar is for you!

Interested students can apply by completing the application and submitting the application to Nikki Nicholas in Shepherd Union, Room 406A, nnicholas@weber.edu. Each section of Lessons in Leadership is limited to 25 students.
