Board of Certification
American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board of Certification (BOC) is the recommended national agency that administers certification exams to our students.
You are eligible to sit for the certification exam after completing graduation with your AAS MLS degree, as an Medical Laboratory Technician and again after completing graduation with your BS MLS degree, as an Medical Laboratory Scientist.
One month prior to graduation, you may start the application process by visiting the web site below. Since WSU is a NAACLS accredited program, select route 1 after you determine the certification examination.
