Linguistics Minor

Program Description

The linguistics minor at Weber State University is an interdisciplinary program for the scientific study of human language(s). The minor complements coursework in a range of majors, such as from the colleges and departments listed below.

Program Requirements

  • 18.5 hours: 18 hours of coursework and a 0.5-hour senior reflection course
  • Breadth requirement of coursework in three areas: Foundations, Language Structures, Applications and Subdisciplines
  • Senior Reflection course: LING 4990 Centering Experience
