Ashley Favorite Book: I couldn’t really pick one at this time. But as I continue to read & explore new ideas I know that eventually I’ll settle on one that becomes my favorite.
Favorite Movie: I really like chick-flicks, and basically all of them are my favorites. I suppose if I had to pick just one – currently, it would be A Lot Like Love or Because I Said So.
Greatest issue facing our society: I think the worst thing about it [society] is that it’s not safe. We live in a very scary world. It’s a sad reality. I don’t know how to teach my children to be safe, knowing that they’re not. It’s difficult to know what horrible things go on, the things other people would actually do to one another, and want to allow my child to find joy in all the hate and violence.
When you are old, what one memory would you want to recall?: As of right now, it would be high school graduation. I was so afraid of walking out in front of all of those people. When they called my name and I heard all of my loved ones cheering – I received this indescribable feeling. Most of all I believe I was proud of myself and just glad that others were as well. However, I want to believe that by the time I’m old, I would have experienced something much better.
What were you like when you were a child?: I have been shy my entire life. I enjoyed reading a lot. I used to love climbing trees, playing soccer with neighbor kids. I always wanted to hang around my older sister and her friends.

What is the greatest misconception about your generation?: That we don’t care. I think we care a lot; we just don’t know how to express it or what to do. We’ve been taught to fear everything; from our neighbor to a stranger in an unmarked white van with candy and puppies. We were raised to be helpless.
What is your greatest fear?: Becoming a zombie – going from day to day, pay check to pay check. Not being happy with my life.
Sport that requires the most practice to perfect: Ballet! Hands down.
