Kim earned his B.A. degree (magna cum laude) in Geography, History, and Political Science from Weber State University. A few years later, he completed a Master of Education degree in Education and Economics also from Weber State University.
Kim has been employed in the Davis County School District for over 27 years. In that time, he has been an Instructor and Department Head as well as the Social Studies Curriculum Director.
His teaching interests include Physical Geography, Earth Science, World Regional Geography, United States and World History, Economics, and Utah State and National Government. He currently teaches GEOG 1000 SS Natural Environments of the Earth.
