Required audition recording:
You will need to submit a recording performance (AVI, Quicktime, Windows Media, DVD, or YouTube link) with your application. Upload your video recording(s) at foulger.weber.edu or send a link of your video recording via e-mail to email@example.com.
Audio only formats will only be accepted if you are NOT entering the Concerto Competition or applying for a Merit Scholarship. If you have attended the SMF International Music Festival in past years, an audition recording is not required unless you are applying for the Concerto Competition and/or Merit Scholarship.
Required audition repertoire:
Piano: Two solo pieces contrasting in styles (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic, and Modern). Concerto recording is allowed. Do not record more than 20 minutes total.
Strings: Two pieces contrasting in styles (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic, and Modern) with or without piano accompaniment. Concerto recording is allowed. Do not record more than 20 minutes total.
Required audition repertoire for the Sid & Mary Foulger International Music Festival Concerto Competition:
Applicants wanting to be considered for the concerto competition should specify in the Application Form and record a complete movement of a concerto with accompaniment from the approved list. The recording must be a video file. There is no time limit for the concerto movement. Finalists will be selected to perform in the Selection Recital.
