Can you really walk your way to fitness? You bet! Get started today. Physical activity doesn't need to be complicated. Something as simple as a daily brisk walk can help you live a healthier life. The faster, farther and more frequently you walk, the greater the benefits. Walking Weber participants meet at the Stewart Bell Tower, are loaned pedometers to track their steps, and embark on a brisk 50-minute walk. Here is an example of one of the walks. The first part of the class will be focused on stimulating the connective tissue of the hips, thighs, pelvis and spine, increasing flexibility and function of the joints. Finishing the class off with some stretches and most importantly relaxation. You will leave this class feeling physically and mentally renewed.
