What is Project Lead the Way?

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a national program that forms partnerships among schools and industry to increase the number and quality of engineers. PLTW is one of the nation"s foremost providers of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs. PLTW is helping students cultivate skills that they will need to be successful in a global economy by providing excellent K-12 curriculum, great partnerships, and professional high quality teacher development.
 

At a Glance

PLTW gives students a jumpstart in their fields. It offers classes that provide information and hands on experience in several major occupational fields including engineering design, electronic engineering, architectural engineering, computer aided manufacturing, bio-technical engineering, and aerospace engineering.
 

Affiliate Partner

Weber State University's College of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology is pleased to be Utah's Affiliate Partner.  In this role, we work closely with business, industry and secondary education representatives to provide teacher training and certification, relevant programs in STEM and career-based educational offerings.
