Planned (Legacy) Giving
Planned giving, also known as legacy giving, is a living donor’s legal arrangement to leave cash or assets to a nonprofit organization, like Weber State, upon his or her death. Planned gifts are vital to the university’s master plan for sustained growth and development.
In arranging a planned gift to Weber State, you are deciding now to help the university later. The most popular and least complicated method of planned giving is to include WSU in your will. But there are many other planned-giving options.
Anyone who has legally arranged a planned gift to Weber State, and has let our Development Office know about it, will become a member of the WSU Legacy Society. Members are invited to attend exclusive WSU events throughout the year.
