Jodi L. Smith, M.D., Ph.D., ‘83
Dr. Jodi L. Smith is an academic pediatric neurosurgeon at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children and an Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center/Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. She exemplifies the qualities of a caring and compassionate healer and represents the best of a Weber State University science education. Featured in the
Spring 2012 Weber State University Magazine, Dr. Smith presents a strong voice for women in science and the importance of the undergraduate research experience available at WSU. Dr. Smith received her undergraduate degree in zoology from Weber State. She was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni at WSU Salutes in 2009.
