Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society

Alpha Phi Sigma is the national honor society for criminal justice majors. The society recognizes academic excellence by undergraduate and graduate students in the criminal justice sciences.

Zeta Gamma is the Weber State University Chapter. It includes the corrections, forensic science, law and justice, and law enforcement programs within the Department of Criminal Justice.

Undergraduate Membership Requirements

  • A declared major or minor in criminal justice;
  • A minimum of 61 total credit hours at WSU or an accredited college or university, 15 of those credits within the Department of Criminal Justice; and 
  • An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and a GPA of 3.2 or higher in your criminal justice major.

Graduate Membership Requirements

  • Acceptance into the Master of Criminal Justice program at WSU; 
  • A minimum of 15 credit hours at WSU or an accredited college or university; and
  • An overall GPA of 3.4 or higher in the master's program.
