Hand delivery will be accepted by Colleen Boam in room 502M on the 5th floor of the Science Lab Building (SL 502M).

You also may e-mail your application as an attached file to Colleen Boam, as long as it can be saved as a Word or Word Perfect 5.0 to 9.0 file without changing the original format. 

*You must be at least a Junior (60+ credit hours), and you must be a major in the College of Science to be considered for a scholarship by the College Science or a department with the College of Science.

Application Deadline is January 13, 2014 at 4pm in SL 502M.

All scholarship applications from the Department of Chemistry are due by January 13, 2014 at 4 pm in SL 502M. Awards will be given at the end of spring semester and will apply to the next academic year, starting fall semester.

If you are interested in doing chemistry public-outreach, please contact Dr. Paustenbaugh at or 801-626-7810.  Currently WSU students are participating in the monthly Science Saturdays at the Science Museum at the Lind Lecture Hall on the Ogden WSU Campus.  We always welcome new people and new ideas to share chemistry with the public.  This opportunity also can count towards service hours.
