School District Interviews
Screenings with school districts are held on-campus at Weber State University November and March of each year. Students who are graduating with a teaching degree are invited to attend these screenings the semester before they graduate.
For the Fall 2016 semester, teacher screenings with school districts will be held November 7 - 11. The following districts will be attending:

Students may start signing up for Fall screenings on October 7, 2016. Screenings are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. You may sign up by calling 801-626-6393 AFTER you have e-mailed your resume to Career Counselor Shari Leder: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note: you do not need to have your resume reviewed by Shari, but you are welcome to call and schedule an appointment to have it reviewed by phone or in person.
On the day of your screening, please bring a copy of the following for each school you are being screened by:
- Resume and Cover Letter
You may also bring:
- Cover Page (Note: you don't have to have the page completely filled out when signing up for interviews)
- Official Transcript obtained from the Records Office (printed on purple paper)
- PRAXIS Scores
- Student Teacher Evaluations
- 3 Letters of Recommendation
(The above 5 optional documents will be mandatory for completing the application process, but not for the interview)
The screenings will be held at the Career Services Center (Student Services Building, suite 230). Review the above list of required documents. It is your responsibility to have sufficient copies for all schools you interview with.
Once you have been screened and accepted as a valid candidate, you will be given the next steps to continue the application process for each school district.
