            To have my hair tied back (if necessary).
            To remove all objects from my mouth:
                        gum
                        paper
                        candy
                        rubber bands
                        hair and hands
            To have a positive can-do attitude.

 WHAT MY TEACHER EXPECTS OF MY PARENTS:
            To observe the class as often as possible.
            To observe without correction or negative comments.
            To deliver the student on time.
            To pick up the student on time.
            To be enthusiastic about all the progress (however small).

 WHAT I CAN EXPECT OF MY TEACHER:
            To explain and demonstrate each skill.
            To give each student an opportunity for practice.
            To give positive reinforcement and corrective feedback.
            To use games whenever help students learn.
            To start and end class on time.

 WHAT PARENTS CAN EXPECT OF THE TEACHER:
            To be a fully certified and authorized American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.
            To be on time and teach for the full class period.
            To keep the FUN in FUNdamentals and give each student an equal opportunity to learn.
            To provide reports and answers about any student's progress at an appropriate time.
            To provide a safe place for learning.
