Lifeguard classes start September 16, 2008 @ 6:30 PM

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some Fridays and Saturdays.

Lifeguard training involves:

• Classroom work 
• learning rescue skills
• professional CPR and first aid training 

Participants must be:

• 15 years of age by the last day of class
• be able to swim 500 yards
• retrieve a 10 pound brick from 11 foot depth
