Bloomington Lake Yurt Trip

Date: July 12-13, 2013

Join the WSU Outdoor Program on an overnight camping trip to the WSU Outdoor Program Yurt located in beautiful Bloomington Canyon Idaho. Bloomington Lake is one of the hidden treasures of the Bear Lake Valley. Experience firsthand the rope swing into the crystal clear and icy cold glacier-fed water.

Participants will meet at the WSU Outdoor Program at 10:00 am on July 12, load equipment and drive to beautiful Bear Lake valley. Upon arrival, participants will set up camp and enjoy an evening hiking and exploring Bloomington Canyon and lake. Evening activities will include dinner, campfire activities and a night hike.

Saturday activities include a small service project at the yurt and swimming and hiking at Bloomington Lake. Participants can expect to return home to WSU in the late evening hours.

All partipants must attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting on July 8th from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the WSU Outdoor Program, Annex 9.
