WSU alumnus H. Raymond Bingham created the Collaboration and Research Fund at Weber State University.
The purpose of the Bingham Faculty Collaboration and Research Fund is to create a vehicle for WSU faculty members to work together on research projects or ideas that will ultimately benefit their students. The award publicly acknowledges and rewards the extra time and energy expended by faculty who both provide their students insight for an excellent education and also foster collaborative research ventures with their colleagues.
Funds from the H. Raymond Bingham Faculty Collaboration and Research Fund will be awarded to Weber State University faculty members who are selected through a nomination/selection process that will be overseen by the Provost. Preference will be given to proposals which advance the university's research climate, open new doors to future partnerships and funding opportunities, and promote development of new ideas and processes in Utah and beyond. Special consideration will be given to proposals with the potential to bring regional, national and international attention to Weber State University.
This fund will be an integral tool for promoting the dynamic and collaborative process wherein faculty will work in partnership to promote the mission of Weber State University.
