Tony Divino of Tony Divino Toyota in Ogden donates two 1/2 tuition scholarships to winners of the WSU Hands-on Automotive Contest.
October 16, 2010 - Thank you to the Denver Region Toyota Dealers Association for donating $21,000.00 to the Toyota T-TEN program at WSU. The money was used for T-TEN student scholarships and Toyota Special Service Tools for automatic transmission and manual drivetrain training classes.
October 15, 2010 - Congratulations to Chase Christiansen, Daniel Guerrero, Scott Kelly, and Kody Schirner for being awarded the Toyota Scholars Program Scholarship for 2010-2011. Each student receives up to a $3000.00 scholarship to be used towards their Bachelor of Science Degree. Thank you to Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. for your generous support of our program.
January 15, 2010 - The WSU Automotive Department now has a partnership with American Honda Motor Sales, U.S.A to allow students in our B.S. Degree to receive training from Honda's Professional Automotive Career Training (PACT) and Honda's Management Action Program (MAP). The MAP includes Service Management, Parts Management, Service Advisor, and Sales training. Additionally, Alternate Fuel Vehicle training, Hybrid-Electric Vehicle training and other selected advanced technical topics will be offered. This training agreement is a part of the Honda PACT training program and will be a benefit to all of our upper division students.
