TE-216 Toyota T-TEN Shop Area | |||

The TE-216 shop space is used by the Toyota Training Center and the Toyota T-TEN program. The shop includes room for 6 vehicles, a large work area, an automatic transmission dynamometer, 5 shop computers, and a large storage area.
Students in the Toyota T-TEN program work on late model Toyota vehicles and components.
There are four hoists for lab use.
There are sixteen new fluid containment workbenches used for automatic transmission overhaul classes.
All automatic transmission overhaul classes include the use of an Axline M310 transmission dynamometer to test the transmissions used in lab.
Access to the Toyota Technical Information System is available on all 34 shop computers.
All 34 shop computers have wireless Internet access, electronic service information from General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Honda, Toyota, and Mitchell On-Demand.
The TE-216E classroom is adjacent to the Shop Areas shown above.
The TE-216E classroom has multimedia equipment with wireless Internet access.
There is a large storage area (TE-216H) which is used for engines, transmissions, axles and other equipment for all of our automotive programs.
