The National OBD Clearinghouse (http://obdclearinghouse.com) which facilitates secured communication between vehicle manufacturers and state/regional/federal Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) groups, as well as provides a wealth of OBD related information to the general public. Maryland’s public outreach regarding the OBD Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) and the Maryland OBD I/M program (http://maryland.autosciencetech.org).
Developed OBD II Operation and Repair Training curriculum used for national OBD training sessions, used by AHM as a reference manual. This training program is also used by the states of North Carolina, Wisconsin, Maryland and Massachusetts for repair technician training.
Provided Train-the-Trainer sessions in North Carolina, Maryland and Massachusetts for the instructors that provide training in their local areas.
Depeloped North Carolina OBD I/M Training material used to train all Inspector-Mechanics conducting the NC OBD I/M test. Train-the-trainer sessions also provided to the North Carolina Community College instructors that conduct the NC OBD I/M training sessions.
1994 – 1998 served as program developer and lead instructor for GM OBD II course and course updates. The GM OBD II Training Curriculum was the first professional training curriculum available from the vehicle OEM group and has been used as the benchmark for OBD II training curriculum that has followed.
