About Arts in the Park
Arts in the Parks is a free program that offers opportunities for children to explore visual and performing arts through hands-on activities.
The program travels to six different Ogden city parks for one week at a time during the summer months and is a collaborative effort between the Weber State University Telitha E. Lindquist College of Arts and Humanities, the Jerri and Vicki Moyes College of Education, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, the Center for Community Engaged Learning and the Ogden City Schools summer lunch program.
The program began in 2010 and is made possible through generous funding from the Weber County RAMP program, the Val A. Browning Charitable Foundation, the Alan and Jeanne Hall Endowment for Community Outreach, the Utah Families Foundation and private donations.
