Aelurus is an annual literary journal created to recognize work of the highest caliber from graduate-level English students and Weber State University alumni in the fields of fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, and scholarly criticism.
HELP WANTED
Aelurus will soon begin interviewing applicants for next year's editorial staff. If you are interested in holding an editorial position in one of our genres, especially if you plan to take the class, forward your Resume/CV detailing your area(s) of interest and a description of your experience (if any) to our email address: aelurus@weber.edu.
Please put "2013-14 Staff Application" in the subject line.
These positions are open to both current and incoming MENG students and Weber State MENG program Alumni, so please spread the word. We would like to begin scheduling interviews by the end of March if possible to ensure a smooth transition to the fall semester.
Working on Aelurus is great way to add editing and publishing experience to your portfolio while making substantial connections with other students in the program.
What is required? Aelurus will be offered as a 2 credit class in the spring of 2014, but we need to finalize primary editorial staff during the fall. Staff will meet 4 to 5 times during the fall semester in preparation for spring, but workload will be minimal until the spring semester starts. Fall semester can be taken as a 1 credit hour class for those on the editorial staff (for a total of 3 semester hours for editors, 2 for general staff in the Spring semester).
