Submission Guidelines
Submissions to the Ælurus cover contest must meet the file specifications outlined below, and will need to be submitted in jpeg / jpg file format at 300 dpi. Your name should not appear anywhere in the file or file name. Entries must include Ælurus, Spring 2012 and Volume 1 on the spine. There is no theme - we want to see your creativity and interpretation of Ælurus.
All submissions must be original and follow all US Copyright laws.
Awards
The winning entry will be used as the cover art and may also be used in part or whole as graphics for website or in other print applications. The winners name will be listed in the journal.
Send an email to aelurus@weber.edu with the Subject line "Aelurus submission" and including all of the following in the email:
- Full Name
- Title of Piece
- Brief Artist Statement
- Address
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Class Standing (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th+ years in program, or Alumni and graduation year)
- The finished size of the journal is 6"x9" with a .5" spine.
- Final file size should be 12.5"x9"
- Please be sure all artwork is submitted at 300 dpi.
