Award-Winning Filmmaker Part of Human Rights Week at WSU

In conjunction with Human Rights Week on campus, the film “Born Into Brothels” will be shown at 11 a.m., Nov. 15 in Shepherd Union Ballroom A.

The film, which won the 2005 Academy Award for Best Documentary, features "red-light" district kids in Calcutta who were given cameras to document their lives and resiliency.

Geralyn Dreyfous, executive producer of the film, will discuss the movie at the end of the presentation. The event is free to the public.
