Major Fest Helps Students Plan College, Futures

October 25, 2004

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University's Major Fest 2004 will be held Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Ballrooms. The event is aimed at helping current WSU students and high school seniors decide on a program of study.

The event, which attracted over 3,000 students last year, is free to the public. Representatives from all of WSU's academic departments will be on hand to answer student questions and discuss possible majors and career paths. Students also can learn how to declare their major.

Major Fest coincides with Scholarship Day at WSU. All students are encouraged to stop by the scholarship information table at Major Fest and learn more about opportunities for funding and apply for available scholarships.
