WSU History Series Presents ‘Liberty Bell in Peace and War’

OGDEN, Utah - The Weber State University Department of History Special Lecture will examine “The Liberty Bell in Peace and War: An American Icon,” Oct. 12 at noon in the Shepherd Union Room 404A.

The lecture will feature Gary Nash, history professor at the University of California, Los Angeles and founding member of the National Council for History Education.

Nash will discuss the Liberty Bell’s history and how it became a beacon of hope for people worldwide.

The public is invited to the free event, which is sponsored by WSU’s Department of History and the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences.
