Students Organizing Coat and Winter Clothes Drive

OGDEN, Utah – With cold weather just around the corner, WSU student leaders are organizing a coat and winter clothes drive to help area homeless people stay warm this winter.

In conjunction with the office of Student Involvement & Leadership, drop boxes are being placed around WSU’s Ogden and Davis campuses.

Everyone is encouraged to donate coats and other winter garments such as gloves, mittens, hats, scarves and boots to help St. Anne’s Shelter in Ogden outfit people who will spend this winter on the streets.

Collection boxes will be available Oct. 1-14, with organizers sorting and delivering all donated goods on Oct. 18.
