Event to Raise Funds for National Ability Center

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University’s Stewart Stadium will be the site for a one-mile fun walk from 8 a.m. to noon on Oct. 16 to raise funds for the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah.

The fundraiser “Laps for Lyndsay” is being held in honor of Lyndsay Lynch, who lost her battle with epilepsy at age 7 in August.

The National Ability Center offers individuals with epilepsy opportunities to participate in recreational activities such as archery, cycling, horseback riding, rock climbing, and snow and water skiing.

The cost to participate is $20 per person. To register for the event, visit Active.com and search for “Laps for Lyndsay.”
