WSU Alum, Surgeon to Share His Experiences in Medicine

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University’s Honors Issues Forum will host Dr. David Joos who will present “Misadventures in Medicine: Balancing knowledge, logic, progress and humility.”

Joos graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from WSU in 2000.

A former Honors student, he went on to graduate from Vanderbilt Medical School and currently works as an orthopedic surgeon.

The presentation will be held Sept. 7 at 12:30 p.m. in Stewart Library’s Hetzel-Hoellein Room.

The event is free to the public.
