Big Sky Commissioner to Address Future of Conference

OGDEN, Utah – Calling all Wildcat fans.

Doug Fullerton, the Big Sky Conference Commissioner, will address recent changes in the conference and their impact on Weber State University athletics during a special presentation at 7 p.m. July 14 in the Lindquist Alumni Center.

Fullerton will outline some of the recent developments in the Big Sky Conference, including its expansion. He also will provide context for some of the challenges facing college athletics programs in general.

Following Fullerton’s presentation, WSU Athletic Director Jerry Bovee will discuss how these forthcoming changes in the Big Sky will affect the Wildcats. Bovee and Fullerton will be available for a question and answer session with fans at the end of the evening.

The event, which is presented by the WSU Young Alumni Association, is open to the public. The Young Alumni Association is requesting that those who attend make a donation to the Young Alumni Scholarship Fund.
