WSU Plans 25th Reading and Writing Conference

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University and the Utah State Office of Education (USOE) will host the 25th Annual Reading & Writing Conference June 12-13 in the Stewart Stadium Sky Suites.

The conference is designed to give elementary and secondary education instructors an edge in addressing the needs of their students. Presenters for the two-day conference are professors Roni Jo Draper and Nancy Livingston from Brigham Young University, as well as literary coach and author Lori Oczkus. Both USOE credit and WSU credit are available to participants. Check-in and a continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. both days with sessions starting at 8:30 a.m.

Fees include sessions for both days, materials and refreshments. Lunch is not included. The first 100 registrations will receive a $40 scholarship toward the cost of the conference.
