Supplier Development Conference to be Held May 29

OGDEN, Utah – A Utah Supplier Development Conference will be held May 29 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center (2415 Washington Blvd., Ogden).

 The conference, the first of its kind to be held in Ogden, is designed for any Utah business interested in doing business with the government or becoming a supplier for large commercial companies. Participants will learn how to market to federal, state and local government agencies, the fundamentals of government contracting and where to find resources for assistance.

Successful government contractors will offer their advice and share their experiences.  Representatives from area businesses and government agencies will also be in attendance.

 Weber State University’s Small Business Development Center is sponsoring the event along with the Women’s Business Center, Utah Suppliers Developer Council.

 The conference will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Advance registration is $20, or $25 at the door. Please RSVP to the SBDC at (801) 626-7051.
