Former Bioterrorism Prevention Planner to Speak at WSU

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University's Honors program will host former Tooele County public information officer and bioterrorism planner Rich Lakin April 27 at noon in Shepherd Union Building, room 417.

Lakin, who recently took a position with the Utah Department of Health, will present “Bioterrorism: Safe in Utah?” as part of the Honors Issues Forum series. He will discuss his experiences in Tooele, as well as the threat of bioterrorism in the state.

The event is free to the public.
